Default floor heat

I am a nubie to this forum so please bear with me!! I seem to have no floor heat in my 94 K1500.I found 2 actuators on the distribution ducts.one on the left side near the trans hump the other on the right side near glove box. Both seem to be working but no air flow to the floor. The arrows are not flashing on the blend indicater so am sure I have power to both actuators.Any Idea were to go from here? Thanx rick in mi

Rick,

Welcome to the forum. Are you able to switch from vents to defrost? If not, you may have a vacuum hose off under the hood. On many GM trucks from the 90s, if a certain vacuum hose comes loose under the hood, it prevents air flow from moving from the center vents to the floor heater and/ or the defroster.

The 94 has no vacuum control the heat is all electrical controlled. I use to own a 94.
My 98 most of the air goes to the floor. The rod for the control is bent so my motor turns but the flapper inside dosent. This might be what is wrong with yours. Mine changes from floor to vent but I get very little air out of them most comes out the defrost.

Thanx guys. From what I can find there is no vaccum to the air distribution case. There is two acuators that I know of,actuator temp/defrost and what is called actuator, mode.I have defrost and vent air but nothing to the floor,am leaning towards a flapper not opening or like was said maybe a bent rod that the door hinges on.Are there any pics on how these air distribution ducts function?
