How many miles are on this jewel? Very high mileage, id go with a replacement engine or a rebuild.

300k is no problem for this engine, mine was neglected and had 160 when i got it same problems you are having. but after i put all new felpro gaskets, picked and vacuumed the inch of crud out of the valley and cleaned all the crud out of the intakes. it stopped leaking, it had a lifter tick though. i put some seafoam in the oil and ran it a few weeks and changed the oil again now its quiet as my 07. good oil helps too cheap oil and cheap filters dont last long and pressure drops. i just use regular vavloline

From your previous post, Im assuming you have low oil pressure. Whats your pressure readings? Two Problems that could be the cause is the oil pump is getting weak, or the bearings in the engine are worn. Have you tried a thicker weight of oil to bring pressure back?

Here are the pressure specs.
Oil Pressure (Minimum at Normal Operating Temperature)

1000 rpms 42 kPa (6 psig)

2000 rpms 125 kPa (18 psig)

4000 rpms 166 kPa (24 psig)
