Default Anybody install Energy Suspension body mounts?

I have a 99 Suburban and was going to replace the body mounts to somehow get rid of the harsh ride. Any luck with the polyurethane mounts? Soft or hard? Thanks

I can't imagine that any kind of body mounts would have any significant effect on ride harshness in one of these. A 2500 like yours will ride harder than a 1500. The harshest part of this car'* suspension is the leaf springs in the rear.

Are you using stock size and load-rating tires?

Are they pressurized to what the door sticker says?

This is the wife’* 1500. My 2500 rides twice as nice. 1500 has new Bilsteins. I’ve swapped tire sets and adjusted pressures but nothing has helped. The poly mounts out there look like they would add stiffness so I was curios to see if some have used them. I’d rather not ride around with 8 psi in the tires.

Ah. Good to know. How many miles on the new shocks?

5k on shocks. P265x75-17 tires. No beat up bushings or other signs of metal to metal contact. Truck is NICE, the ride drives me nuts. May replace mounts with stock style rubber ones. Thanks Cathedral.

Yeah, at 5,000 miles they are broken in.

Those tires are about 7% larger than stock.

Is the wheel offset the same as factory?

Has there been any modifications done to the suspension?

What pressure are you running them at?

How many miles on the tires?

What make/model/performance specification of tires?
