I think that I solved the problem, it was an injection problem..
I want to ask you about a diesel car, the 2006 chevrolet Blazer DLX 2.8 TD... is it made by GM? do you thing that is a good car (if better than the jimmy)?? any other informations..thanks

If I am in Algeria and have limits on money, access to parts, etc- I am only buying Toyota products. Toyota is the standard worldwide for developing countries. Toyota has the best service and parts network, super reliable, etc.

Glad you have a GM and awesome you are trying to make it work for you; but I sense you would be better off with a Toyota based on your location.

we dont get any of the good diesels, americans on average dont care about diesel and up until a couple years ago, the only affordable diesel was the vw jetta. the only other ones available were for heavy duty 2500 or higher turbo 8 cylinders

Sorry, the newer Blazers are marketed for overseas last I heard. Which means we don't have any here in the US.

GM did produce a 4.3 liter diesel in the mid 1980'* for the FWD cars. I had a 85 cutlass supreme with one but it was very underpowered for the car. They were rare to find back then.

Yeah, it'* underpowered for the jimmy, but I see everywhere on the internet that are many blazer *-10 and Jimmy (1996 and newer) have the 5.7 V8 vortec... I want to know if I can do the same
doesn't matter how much i will spend, just want to place the 5.7L V8 Vortec
