Default 84 Jimmy ICM
My 1984 GMC JIMMY keeps burning out ignition control modules. I replaced the distributor last month and already I've bought two. This happened a few years ago, then stopped. Help.

what brand are you buying? and does it have the heat sink compound on it when you put it in?

The distributor is an off brand and icm was already installed. The last one I had put in by a mechanic. When I was replacing them often, I put the compound on myself during install.
