I've got a 2003 *-10 extended cab, 2 whl drive, 4.3L auto that I'd like to put 4 piston calipers on for a little better breaking

It'* the standard LS model but I do have the ZQ8 5 slot wheels

Anybody know of any after market manufacturer making calipers to fit my truck?... or, is there any OE GM calipers that maybe came on other GM vehicles that would work?

I found the Wilwood D-154 Brake Caliper Set but it shows to only fit "1997-2002 S10 Pickup, 4 x 2 with Rear Drum Brakes"

Since mine is a 2003 it should fit mine too... but I thought I'd ask just in case there is something different after 2002 that would make these not work.

4 piston? I find 2 piston setups, but no 4'*.

That kit you found is to upgrade from REAR drum brakes to disc brakes.

Being that it'* Amazon, I could just buy the kit and try it... and return it if it doesn't fit.

Those are 2 piston, not 4.

I was reading up on these and they come in either 1 piston or 2... if you get them in 2 piston, you'd have to run 17'' wheels which I'm not going to be doing.

So, looks like I'* be stuck with the single piston calipers and if that'* the case I'll probably just by some new AC-Delco calipers and be done with it.

Then why not upgrade to drilled/slotted rotors? Ceramic pads?

I've done ceramic before and they were way too noisy for more.

I'll probably go with drilled/slotted rotors if I can find some that are direct replacements for the OE rotors, but I'd use the AC Delco pads so keep the noise and break dust to a minimum.

My brakes don't make any noise now with stock pads and rotors and I'd like to keep it that way.

I was just wanting to see if 2 piston calipers were available since they do stop a little better.

The only obstacle I can see if other people are saying you have to have at least a 17 inch wheel and I'm running the 16in ZQ8s... so I might buy them and mock them up just to see if my wheels clear without actually installing them so I can return them if need be.

Yeah, if ya happen to know if they have drilled/slotted rotors that are direct replacements for stock rotors, please let me know...
