Hello everyone,
Has anyone tried to use the 2020 Cadillac surround vision video recorder on another GM model such as a GMC 2020 Sierra Denali?
My dealer does not know if they are compatible. I realize that GMC does not offer it as an option but it is my understanding the surround vision camera system is the same on both the Cadillac and Denali. If that'* the case, the recorder may be able to be used on my GMC
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

That'* brand new stuff. If GM isn't offering it as an option then it'* going to take the aftermarket a while to do it, if they ever do.

I've been trying to sort through some info on this same subject. I'd love to have the onboard cameras capture some of the 4x4 trails I've been undertaking! Hell, even some of the traveling through forests, national parks, etc could be pretty epic footage in some of my projects. I'm curious if you ever followed up on this, or went any further to see if the Cadillac recorder works?

I was a little disappointing finding this out myself. I added in a two camera aftermarket rearview mirror recording system to mine for front and rear recordings. It'* ashamed there is no recorders for at least a few of the camera views. I had to give up the 4k rearview mirror for the 2k aftermarket one. Still 2k isn't bad.
