Default 2018 Sierra 5.3 air conditioner problem

Two months ago replaced condenser (leak in upper right side). Recharged. Everything was good for a month. Air did not cool again. Checked pressures everything good. Noticed that it would cool some while at idle but not any over idle. Replaced compressor and expansion valve. Recharded. Air worked great for a week. Now back to cooling some while at idle. Need help on where to go from here.

Is the compressor cycling on & off or running consistently?
There could be another small leak, in which case a dye can be placed into the system.
What are your current high & low side readings now?

The pressures are good. From what I understand the compressor always is running and the computer tells it how much to pump.

How did you verify the pressures are "good"?

The variable valve may be having a problem.

I checked the pressures with a set of gauges.

You are an AC tech? Did you evac the system before charging? If the variable orifice is OK you may have an issue with something in the system causing restrictions in the condenser.
Need to see what happens when the cooling changes. Keep the gauges hooked up.

And as originally asked at the beginning of the post, someone asked what the gauges are indicating. Simply saying they are 'fine' does not constitute anything on our end. We are asking for a reason.

And when you do take those readings, make note of the ambient air temp too.
