Georgia as a state doesn't require anything, it'* only the counties that make up the Metro area. I assume its because of the amount of cars.

I've decided I'm not going to do true duals. Now to buy the muffler. Center in or offset in? I can't remember what the guy at the shop said. I think he said center in.

that would be nice, in NY they only hook up the sniffer in new york city, the rest of the state they just hook 96+ vehicles up to the computer, so if your cat is gutted or whatever, as long as the computer is happy your good.

Apparently my girlfriend went to a place with a sniffer and they charged her like $30 to do it.

The place we took the truck charged us $10 and only ran the computer tests, didn't even look for the cats.

I also wonder why it'* 96+? My 91 Beretta and S10 both had emissions systems.

its cause 96 was the first year the us required obd2 and testing in all cars sold. up till then it was pretty much optional and if your car didnt have it they put you on the rollers and used the sniffer.

in indiana its free to check it, they have emissions test sites. and for a $10 convince fee you can renew your tags from the driver seat lol.

like he said, the computer has an obd2 plug and thats it. if your car is older here technically they are supposed to check to make sure the original equipment is still there but most only check to see if the cat is there. they dont put anything on the sniffer.

Ok, so single in/dual out for now and headers later is the general consensus?

Also, center in and not offset in right?

Just gonna let a muffler shop put something together. None of Flowmaster systems use the muffler I want and cost wayyyyy too much.

A shop where I'm from in MO will replace from the muffler back for only $250 OTD. I love that shop too. He did my moms exhaust setup years ago and it'* still on the car.
