Ok so I am going to be replacing the transmission on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. My question is: Will I have to mess with the torsion bars at all in order to remove the transmission from this vehicle?
It is a 4x4. The transfer case bolts to the back of the trans. If I unbolt the case, will I be able to slide it back far enough off the trans output shaft so that I can lower the transmission?
The transfer case extends past the x-member which secures the end of the torsion bars.
