Default 1997 GMC 5.7 spare connector in bay, any ideas?

My truck has been out of commission for a while. I’ve replaced plugs, wires, TPS, MAP, and shift solenoids. It’* in limp mode. I have a spare wire pigtail in the engine bay. Any ideas on where it goes? Brown and black wires, only two. On the passenger side of the block in the same block of wires as the (assumed) fuel injector pigtail and others. I tried posting pictures but it wouldn’t let me. I can personally email pictures of anyone is willing to help.
