Default 1996 blazer fuel line leak

Hi all newbie here,

I have a 1996 blazer 4x4 4door. The fuel line is leaking between the filter and the tank. I have looked underneath but it is so tight you can't see much. My question is what do I need to do to replace this line. I am assuming I have to drop the tank? If so what do I need to watch for when dropping the tank. Any tips, tricks or secrets would be greatly appreciated.

If your 96 is similar to my 2000, the rigid line should turn into a plastic line somewhere between the filter and fuel tank.

plastic likes to kink so be careful when you drop the tank. i would just run a new plastic line to the filter, they make conversion adapters to go back to metal at the filter

There is also a used S10/Blazer parts house on Ebay out of Florida that sells the fuel line assemblies from pulled vehicles. I purchased a set that was super clean for $35 a few years ago. Might be a additional option for you to look into. What I liked is that he was pulling parts from non-rust belt S10/Blazers.
