I'm taking mileage notes for the time being to estimate if the battery is working well, but I haven't driven it long enough to make confident assessments.

But this is new: During a 15 mile drive, the remaining miles alternates between 187 and 156. It does not decrement during the drive, say from 187 to 186 to 185. On the highway, it stays at 187. Then in traffic it quickly dropped to 156 and stays there for subsequent traffic conditions.

Now this is likely due to the new software estimating in a different way, as it is logical to have a higher value on the highway and then drop when in in less efficient conditions. So I'm yet to observe a problem with the battery life, but I am certain the miles estimation is behaving differently then it was before the software update.

I'd watch that weirdness closely. It should be able to estimate remaining miles better than flipping back and forth 31 miles.

If the car had a 1,000 mile range I wouldn't worry about the 31 miles so much.
