-20 and the old Bonnie doesn't even wanna think about starting. Tried jumping, nothing. I guess I really can't blame her- it is BRUTAL out there. BTW, batteries 5 years old, so guess I am gonna be getting a new one this week. Oh, and a block heater.

When you change the battery, make sure you clean up the battery cables on both ends. Put some dielectric grease on the connections.

In Upstate NY, we are currently at 13F. Almost cold enough for cold weather training at FT Drum.

Is that with another running vehicle connected to the dead battery?

At -20 the batteries is probably froze if it'* discharged. In that scenario I would always check to see if it is indeed froze first. Never try to jump a frozen battery. It can damage the running car.

It'* 7 degrees here in PA @ 1700 feet. Going to be a nippy one tonight. I may let my geese in. ....."Honeeeeeey!, get the Pampers out!"

BTW, Dipstick heaters are easy and great for cars in those temps. I used to use one with my older LeSabre. Vroooom, every morning.
