The BC staff is in the process of finalizing our 'job description' for club recruiter. We'd be curious to see what ideas the other members have. What would he do for us? Any ideas are welcome.

Well, if you're calling that person a recruiter, what will be this person'* main effort?
I'd guess two options. Someone who would send out invitations to other Bonne owners to join our group, and/or someone who would search the world over for Bonne related performance and maintenance parts and services.
Design logos too.....sure why not.
Do we want one of the vendors to be a recruiter, or would there be a conflict of interest?
I might recommend that you post a summary of duties or expectations of Administrators, Moderators, Secretary, Recruiter, etc...

Someone who can work with businesses to acquire discount lodging for meets and gatherings. Can also get places to host a mod day or track day.

Hmmmm.....that'* a good point you make. I'm in the final stages of the Recruitor job description, pending input from this post, but maybe I should post the responsibilities of the other staff members for you guys. Let you know who does what and all.

Christine, we've been working on this for 2 or 3 months and have already selected a candidate.......assuming he doesn't run off when he gets the job description

We'll consider you a contingency plan!

I think their should be someone appointed from each area. It would be hard for them to recruit people if they dont live in the area. Plus this would be a big workload for one person. This way when it comes down to big meets, there can be one or more people helping out.

Another good idea we've already discussed. We're gonna see where our candidate takes this, and see who 'washes in' on the beach when it comes time to help him. As the site grows, I'm sure we'll have geographical recruiters.

I like it when you guys think like us. It makes us feel less stupid
