Extended Warranty
Does anyone know of any outfit that will provide extended warranty coverage on 1992 vehicles? I have checked a few sites and most of them provide coverage on 1995 and newer with less than 80K miles. My 92 Bonnie has 88,500miles on it now. Would appreciate any feedback.Thanks.

If you've got enough money to spend on an extended warranty, put it into a CD at the bank, or set up a payroll deduction for deposits into your savings account. This way you will have a progressively-building nest egg, which you can use either for major repairs or an eventual down payment on another car. Either way, you win.
Shelling out the same money to an extended warranty outfit will, at best, leave you with nothing to show for it later on even if the car doesn't break down.

So far I have changed several parts since Jan. Tranny $ 1100.00 and Crank pulley $360.00. and more to come. They like to change parts with used ones, is the only draw back.

in my opinion a warrenty is a waste of money cuz half the time they dont cover everthing example my dad has a 00 cavy with 98,000 the timing chain broke they wont cover it cuz they said thet oil wasnt changed on time when he changes it every 5,000 another 99 extreme the gauge cluster shorted out the didnt cover that see its a waste thats only in my opinion how many agree?

Thanks to everyone who has replied. I kind of figured it would be hard to find an extented warranty for a car 10 years old. From looking at the maintance records it appears that the previous owner kept the car well maintained changing the oil every 3000mi, ect. Maybe I will get lucky. Still impressed with the car.
