Default WOW. What a difference a new battery makes!

So yeah..... I have had problems with my old battery in the past (IE - Dead under 20*, lights dimming, slow cranking, etc.) Even after charging it, it would simply just get weak. Then come to find out, it was the wrong battery, the person had installed a Wal Mart Everstart MAXX 8 years ago which was only 730 CC and 630 CCA. Needless to say the new Energizer E78-N (which is the right battery) with 900 CC and 770CCA is a HUGE difference. Even my dummy lights, headlights, etc. are brighter.

I read the Wal Mart battery part and was surprised the sentence went on to explain amperes. In my experience, no matter the battery, they just won't EverStart!

Yeah, I meant the owner before Petey, which was the original owner of the car.

When I got the 95, it had vent-tube style AC Delco (like the one in my 00), but the battery wouldn't hold a starting power charge for even 10 seconds. Once jumped, the car ran fine, but when you turned off the ignition and tried to start it again, it would be dead. AC Delco'* warranty is only for the original purchaser so I couldn't just get a new one. Luckily I had the old battery I had got from Autozone for my van laying around. I brought both batteries in to be tested at Autozone, and believe it or not, the AC Delco tested good while the DuraLast tested bad. Since the warranty on the DuraLast was still good, I received full credit towards a new battery, so I purchased a brand new side post battery for my 95.

Yup, in fact Radomir, the Everstart is made by Johnson Controls, makers of MANY batteries, including the Energizer I bought.
