hhahaa, wow. Thats...good. but you can probably do better..

I averaged 33.5 on a 400 mile trip WI-IN going about an avg highway speed of 75 and actually included getting stuck in traffic for 3 hours

On the way back..for 400 miles...I did about 30 spurts of 75-100 on I-65 for the 100 miles between Lafayette and I-80, then got stuck in rush hour traffic in downtown chicago on I-290 for about 2 hours, then drove around the north chicago suburbs in heavy traffic, AND being lead footed...for about 30 miles. I averaged 28.5 mpg for that 400 miles.

Me thinks something is holding you back, because my mileage is an L27 with 3.06 gears...

We all should see MPG improve in the north after Feb. 15th. thats when the gas formula is changed.
I too look forward to 29 - 31 Highway miles in the summer.
Winter around town 15 - 17 tops.
Can't wait for summer.....

I recently got 27MPG on a 330mi trip to and from Columbus averaging ~75mph. With lack of a good tune and with my car loaded to the max.

Yes. I got 37 last time I checked. I had a bad vacuum leak and I got numbers like yours.

Four times a year I make a 1,500 mile round trip to Dallas. While I'm there, I do about 100 miles of city driving before getting back on the highway. I average between 34-36 mpg. I do the exact speed limit of 70 mph in TX, 65 in OK or NM, and 75 in CO. 49,000+ miles total, just change the oil every 3,000 and keep her clean

EDIT: Been tracking city mileage too. After zeroing out the computer at New Year'*, I'm averaging 23.1 around town.
