General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Would you be this mean to your Bonne?

And I have some extra Majestc Teal SSEi SCed badges that could be added to lose some of the sleeper effect. (BTW, Don, the photo of that van is an active listing on Autotrader.com, as we speak )

They just load up the stuff in semis around here...none of that van stuff! As an example...

If you do all of that to your van, won't it take away the soccer mom appeal factor?

If your wife wants a real terror weapon, get her an old turbo-van. They're getting hard to find, but you can buy them ultra cheap, parts are inexpensive and plentiful, and mods are unbelievably cheap.

Unfortunately, the Crhysler turbo vans or days gone by do not the same creature comforts of teh newr models, so the t-van wouldn't make the grade for comfort and doo-dads in my wifes eyes.

Honestly, it isn't bad having both vehicles handy. One for hauling kids, furniture, groceries, and camping suppllies, and..........one for just plain haulin' a**.

What kind of freak mutant Australian Shepard weighs 80 pounds? Or 110 pound lab? A male lab in working condition should weigh no more than 80 pounds, and the Aussie should be around 50-65 pounds.

So unless you have an Aussie the size of a Lab, and a Lab the size of a Rottweiler, I'd put your dogs on a diet.

And sweet van.

Bob'* wife got Bob'* car.
Bob'* dogs got Bob'* car.
What did Bob get? A new tie? Some aftershave? No...Bob got HOSED!

Guys, are you listening to yourselves here? We're talking about a MINIVAN! And modding it. I don't care if it'* turbo charged, supercharged, or has a Rolls-Royce gas turbine with afterburners stuffed in the back (well, OK, that might be cool), it'* still a MINIVAN. You open the sliding door and 450 little varmints tumble out leaving a pile of McDonald'* wrappers in their wake. :P

Rumor has it that Not Stock Bob, now known as Soccer Bob, was so painfully ashamed of his demotion to minivan pilot that he started to wear a ski mask while driving around town. As luck would have it, someone robbed a 7-11 as Soccer Bob drove by. You can see him on COPS next Saturday at 7PM Eastern time, 8 PM Central. He was ultimately charged with owning an SSEi but driving a minivan. Should we start a PIF to bail Soccer Bob out of the pokey?*

*The above paragraph may be a complete fabrication.
