Default Wires question?

Well I was looking at getting the Taylor wires, but after reading about the problems a few have been having I decided against it. I tried to get some from Napa but they don't have a listing for the blue ones up here in Ontario for my car ( not the Bonneville BTW, hehe). I have found that Crappy Tire sell Accel wires in the universal set for 8 cyl in blue and they are either the 8mm or 8.8mm . Has anyone had any luck with those universal sets that you make the wires the length you want??

Don't do it...you'll be sorry. Buddy of mine in his GTP is just removing his nearly new Accells to install new GM wires.

Save yourself the trouble, get GM wires.

Cheers,

GM doesn't make Blue though, hehe. I did install MSD wires in my Bonneville and they have been great( but they are red). My choices are pretty limited. There is barely any listings for wires for a 03 Malibu. I have to use either a set from a GA or an Impala, go figure.

If you do a good job, the universal are fine. What I like about them is you can customize them to any size you like. I've used them many times.
