Also, for reference. I found this piece below inside the wiper switch:



This is obviously the end of the broken of lever. All the new turn signal levers have a different shaped **** (I don’t know what else to call it). The new ones are more gradual inclines whereas this one is more share. Like this:

Learning electrical. Switches are fun and easy. There are some complicated switches that are fun also.
