GM is GMC (plus others)
Diamler is chrysler
Mercedes is chrysler

As far as I remember...Rolls was bought out by VW, mabye 2 years ago.

I'm workin on memory here...I think my assumptions are accurate :?

Theres no change for chrysler, even if there putting V8s in the 300, I have never seen yet a chrylser transmission in any vehicle chrysler make hold up for long. So if chrysler tried to go up against gm there trannies gears will be flying all over the place. I know from experiance about chrysler trannies.

ill second that, the tranny on our '94 was a b*tch to fix, and fix, and fix, and fix...

I guess DC has yet to learn of the effects of aerodynamics...can you say DRAG?

Jeep and eagle are also under Daimler chryslers umbrella. I thought Rolls Royce was sold by VW and BMW bought it? Mercededs has Maybach now, and VW got Bugatti.

I think that a Mercedes are called Daimler'* in parts of the world. I remember seeing Daimler SLK and couldnt figure it out.
