My boost gauge would disagree with you.

I got via PM this morning. Kinda interesting if you ask me...

Had to change every engine mount, alternator, A/C pump, oil filter flang, axels, oil pan, and computer. The other problem I had was that the transmission gear selector switch from the Bonnie is an internal switch and the GP is an external switch with a lot more wiring. Without this the car though that it was in third gear all the time and wouldn't start with the key. I finally got it to fire by jumping the starter but that got old fast. I figured out that all I had to do was take the transmission cover plate off and swap the wiring harnesses and selector switch from the old tranny to the new. Figured it out with the combined brains of Tim at Intense racing and Brian on L67swap.com. Of course I didn't figure this out until the engine was completely bolted up and I had to unbolt all of it once again just to get that plate off. I didn't figure that one out until a couple hundred dollars in service guys looking at it and telling me they had no idea what was wrong or that they wouldn't touch it because of the swap and tow trucks taking it back and forth from my house. Plus a couple of weeks with a car that wouldn't start with the key. Anyway I got that all straight and she purrs like a kitten. I got a PCM from intense to run the whole thing and these guys talked me into a 3.4 pulley. I threw a K&N into the airbox and then gutted it out. I don't know how much better I would be with a cold air intake. I think that if I were to do it again it would only take me a day or maybe two total this time. That and my wife killing me.
I wonder if Haro ran into the same problem when he switch his 2000 motor from a GTP?

He used his "old" tranny, didn't he?
