Default Why would it be faster here?
so im down in AZ for Cristmas and my car feels like its taking off much quicker and it feels faster and like its running more smoothly. what would the reasons be for it to be running better than in Utah?

What'* the elevation difference between each city? Temperatures? Gas mixes?

Well i know in AZ im at like 2000 to like 500 and in utah its like 4 or 5 and right now here its 70 and in utah its like 40 and i dont think the gas mixes are different

salt lake is over 4000 feet...dont know about az....low altitude = cars are faster.

Colder air is better.

It'* probably Utah'* winter gas mix that held you back.

I know the gas in SLC has additives to cut back on greenhouse gas emissions, Plus as Wren said, its probably a winter mixture on top of that.

Less dense air = less mass for a given volume.

There'* not really any such thing as "thin air".
