I hit a tree doing 85 in my old monte carlo and didnt feel like rebuilding her( i dropped way to much into the car). My parents said well sell u our car for the blue book value ( which sucked for me ) so i said its decent ok
after a whole mess of carpayments its almost fuly mine even though ive modded it already i like the size n i also feel safe. Decent power n looks good. if it was a se I would've said no thanks iIl have her for a another 6 months or so then its time to move on to bigger n faster things. 96 imp SS
but they are comphy cars n ppl get out of my way when i roll through GOTTA LOVE BIG CARS

Well, I was in the market for a new car about 4 years ago. I wasn't sure what I was looking for but I knew I wanted a v8 or a really good v6 and something with some size. Being 6'-1" tall, those smaller imports just don't feel comfortable. So I stopped by a local GM dealer and started to browse the lot. We were looking at cars with in a set price range but we couldn't find anything that I liked. While we were walking back to the main building I looked over and saw the black '95 SSEi. I had always love the older SSEi'* (like pre 1991). I asked how much and it was a little more than I budgeted for. HE asked me if I still wanted to look at it anyways so I said sure. I took a look and a test drive out on the local highway. I couldn't believe how much power and luxury this thing had. Needless to say I made my budget work and I picked it up a few days later. I have never regreted buying this car.

Actually, my next car was suppose to be either the 96 GP GTP or the 99 GTP4-door, but they sold out and had a Black SSE with 34,482 miles on it so I grabbed it. I did want this style before they made the new ones but kinda new I could'nt afford that high *** note.

Sound like we all have the cars for the same reason , looking for something else and found the Bonneville . I like it cause it is so comfortable. The speed is alright , wish it had a little more off the line kinda power , but it'* ultra-fine on the highway! But , I hate front wheel drive .

Shane did a brief fling as a Pontiac salesman. When it was time to get out of the previous car (don't even want to talk about that) I decided that a Bonneville was the way to go. Wouldn't trade it for a thing. I'm totally in love with that car

I sold my 70 Dodge Coronet and needed a car that would hold up through college. I was seriously looking into late 80'* Monte Carlos or mid 90'* ones. I almost bought a 95 Monte but it was sold the day before I was going to go check it out. So I talked with friends at school (I was a senior in high school at the time) about what car I should get that would last a long while. I friend of mine who is BIG into Pontiacs (he owns a 73 LeMans 455, would kill 100 ricers put together) said why not a supercharged Bonneville? I laughed and said there was no such thing. Boy did I get shut down!

So me and my dad looked in the paper and found a 93 Maroon SSEi, and decided to check it out. Holy crap it was a piece! The driver drove it mad style. Every SSEi we looked at was in horrific shape. Then we saw the last add for any Bonneville in the paper:
"1994 Bonneville SSE / 3800 Series 3.8L V6 / Prime Condition! / $6000obo."
I said what the hell and we went to check it out. Well in the add it also said "red", well I thought it was the typical Maroon color like all family cars (no offense Deathrat), but no. Me and my dad drove up to the house and there sat a shiny 94 SSE which was BRIGHT red. I knew right then that I was going to drive that puppy home. I got the price down to 5k and drove home in a car I never thought would see any mods....
