Those are SS wheels.
GM has confirmed some motors. I think Motor Trend has spy shots of the 2013 Impala. I doesn't look to be anything like this.

When you look at the test mule pics, you can tell that it'* still not going to be a stellar looking car. Especially if the go the route that they took with the 2013 Malibu

Are they SS wheels?? They look a little different to me... Whatever they are they look terrible with the lines of the car... which looks bad in itself.

the one travis posted isnt so bad but i hate all the cheap looking chrome they feel like they have to put on everything these days. i seriously doubt they go with that chevy across the front either. i have to agree with no one being cool looking since 96.

My first car was a 64 impala, in order of styling I liked the 65,62, then the 64. Actually I loved all the 60'* era impalas up until about 67. No cupholders back then, but hey they had a built in bottle cap opener under the steering column.
