Yes, very true. When we're interviewing tenants for our rental properties, I always take a good glance at the interior of the cars just to see what kind of people they are. Not that messy people are bad, just that I'd rather have a clean one. They'll take better care of my house.

Yes, very true. I'm the first to admit that I haven't washed mine in over 6 months and the last coat of wax was 1.5 years ago. I'll put my mechanical maintenance up against anyone here, though. My car'* not a beater, but it'* certainly not my baby either.

My like for Bonnevilles started with an old 87 that I bought as a beater...
