Gripe time! I hate people who don't use their turn signals. It'* so easy, yet every day, I see some idiot change lanes without using their turn signals. If someone merges in front of me without their turn signals, I usually respond by punching the horn and extending my middle finger.

I mean, if you're changing lanes, and you see a speeding Bonneville coming up, wouldn't you think to warn me before I could potentially ram you? I always use mine, especially when I'm on the highway, going in the triple digits. I'm sure a green blur makes a lot of drivers uncomfortable, but at least the turn signals give some advance warning and show that I'm not *totally* reckless.

Why do you people think drivers don't use their turn signals?

I'd just hit'em....I got Full Coverage and MN is a "no fault state" so we both get the trouble and I get a new car

lol

Where was the Never option at???

Here we have a bunch of potato farmers/rednecks that are not really familier with that switch on the left side.

I nearly always do even if no cars are present, but I think my poorly designed GM CRAPPY turn signal assembly is going to take a sh** soon.

ditto. Mine has recently started taking more force for left hand signals.

Which reminds me....can those slick new signal levers, like the one in my dad'* 98 chevy truck, fit in our steering columns? (remember i tossed out my headlight washer bottle)

I'll admit, I'm guilty of not using mine.

I onlly use it when there'* other traffic present, and when I do, I only move the lever down just enough so the blinker blinks, but the stalk doesn't "park" and automatically turn off. Freeway...typically never....unless I'm about to cut someone off, then I use it--reduces guilt.

I do this because my old 87 Bonnie had a severly screwed up turn signal stalk. It was all messed up. I was convinced that it was messed up because the turn signal was used too much, causing it to wear. So, now I only use it when necessary! I do it because I like my cars so much more now and don't want to have to replace that stalk.

Yeah, I'm kinda guilty, too. I definitely signal when others are around, but if I don't see anyone, I usually just lazy out. I mean, it'* kinda like talking to yourself, ain't it?

BUT, I signal EVERY intersection. Especially the stop sign ones. Nothing pisses me off more while driving, than pulling up to a 2 or 4 way stop, and wondering what that other moron is doing. Okay, some things are worse, but getting flipped off or honked at because I couldn't guess you were making a left...
