I bought my Bonneville as a daily commuter car. Gas prices were high (and still are!) and I wanted a comfortable car to cruise around in (I'm 6' 2").

I researched and researched and researched....and it came down to a Taurus and the Bonneville. The Bonneville had a lot more standard equipment and was less expensive. The Bonneville also has an excellent safety record which is important given the idiots on the highways.

The Bonneville is, by far, the best bang for the buck in used cars.

The price was right, it was a bit of a fixer-upper.

I was originally looking for a '91-93 Grand Prix GTP 5-speed or a '91-93 Z34 5-speed, but had absolutely no luck. I always had some sort of a sweet spot for the Bonneville. I was looking for an SSEi, but came across a '94 SSE and decided to give it a try. Test drove it, fell in love, and here I am.

I had the '94 SLE because it originally was the 'rents car and it just kinda naturally got taken over my me. It definatly sold me on Pontiacs, and I will always have a fondness for the Bonne.

I don't have a Bonnie, but I got the GTP cause it has the Bonneville motor in it.

Before I bought my bonne ,I had owned to Monte carlo'*,an 83 and an 87 ss.The monte'* where great cars, but our family grew so i was in the market for a four door. I wanted something sporty that I could shuttle my family around in and be able to bring home a ton of groceries. It had come down to 2 cars a Regal GS or an SSEI,I test drove the bonne first and didnt even get to test regal knowing I had found the right car.

I've always loved the look of the 92-99 Bonne'*. And the tail lights on the 96-99'* had me hooked. So, when I was in the market for a car, I seen my future car on the lot and decided then and there I would pawn my kids if I had to to have her....
