Why Did Bonneville never get a coupe version (87s-91s)

I have seen coupe versions of both the LeSabre and 88 but I notice Bonneville didn't have this option. I would think since Pontiac is considered the performance brand of GM it would have had a coupe version also :?:
Can any BC photo shop experts show us how they could have looked?

actually there was a 2 door production model car made.
but pontiac never went with it.

Honestly I think the Bonneville was more geared towards the Family crowd with kids but still wanted to have performance with 4 doors.. And boy oh boy did the Bonneville fill those shoes for a long time
