living room is cleaned up. (mostly). I like Geoff am merely trying to help other members keep their cars looking and running good. Never know how much a door light or missing ac line caps can bug a person.

Heheh. For me, its a "I know these are the likely things to break so lemmie have them on hand" kind of thing right now. My wife however knows its going to turn into "Ohhh shinnnneey, I want 3 of them just in case.. yeah thats the ticket, just in case."

What I didn't mention is that I have seven boxes FULL of misc computer parts from 286s through current, including a few SGI Origin 2000 cpu clusters. So.... she knows where this'll go (Need a USB to Serial converter, I got it, et cetera).

Anywho, mod weekend for me, plus wash and wax before the @#$@#$ snow hits so I'll finally be posting pics of the car Sunday or Sunday evening.

Good stuff!
My wife and I have come to an agreement over the years. She gets to organize the house, and I get the garage, to fill up with stuff. She doesn't mind when I repair her car or fix things in the house though. The trick is to keep her convinced that that'* why all the stuff is necessary.

Just last summer I finally sorted out all the boxes of computer parts, old CPU, a complete and running TRaSh 80!, and misc. cords. Sold it all at a garage sale for $10 to some other poor sap who will use it to fill his garage.

For those of us who appreciate the history behind it, yes.

Well don't get too crazy guy. You're talking a very specific and key bit of nostalgia there. I'd have bought it and put it in the server room next to the 500k AS/400'* :P
