Damn. Didn't think of that. I do believe it was more noticeable with the K&N. But I still remember hearing it when I had a paper filter in there.

Did you run hotter plugs? I run stock plugs and mine doesn't do it.

I seem to recall hearing that on my 96 with a gutted box.

FWIW my Intrigue does it as well, especially noticeable if it fails to start.
