when i did the trans swap a guy who helped me ripped the boot on my drivers side cv axle and neglected to tell me untill i found out the hard way well anyways when i replaced it i WRECKED my ball joint....want to know how i jacked the car up by the control arm and was trying for 30 minutes to pry down on it away from the spindle untill my buddy (who was drunk)and i was sober pointed out my jack placement needless to say i have not replaced it and really need to.... so does anybody know how much they are i would like a general idea so i dont have to wait till autozone is open in the mornin to find out cause i know ill just forget plus im somewhat impatient

They should list the price on autozone. rockauto will also carry them and list the price. If memory serves, $30 comes to mind.

good deal i use it as something to look back at and laugh about im pretty sure weve all done similar things of the sort but thanks dan and time for bed for me gotta be to work at 6..woo hoo not

They are relatively cheap. If the one you are replacing is original.... prepare for a good fight. Give yourself enough room to drill the old rivets out. It'* a pain the first time or two you swap one. GM really put those babies in for life.

yea i would say for a good one bout 30$ i bought cheap ones for mine for like 15$. I liked them because they were greasable haven't had any problems tho.
