On some rides they look okay but I don't like them on the bonne'*. I feel it takes away from the beauty of the rims. That'* my 2 cents.

Raised whites are for trucks and SUVs.

Cars should have white walls or just plain.

That'* my $.02....

My first set of GY Eagle GTs had white lettering and looked fine with my wheels and white body. I thought it enhanced the sport side of the bonneville. And for those who think that white letters are only for SUV'* or sport trucks, have you ever been to a vintage car show? Look at the totally chromed engines and gorgeous sport show cars, many with white lettered tires and mag wheels.

To me that just detracts the focus on those sharp rims.

I had them on my wife'* previous Grand Prix, a 1988 SE. The car was black, and the tires were Dayton'* Daytona SR tires, and they looked GREAT. I think it depends somewhat on the car color. I don't think they work with Karl'* car above, but maybe on my Silver SE. I think they'd look great on a white Bonnie or Black. Probably not on Majestic Teal.
(sorry, had to get a dig in.)
