I had that same fitting let go on my LeSabre. Of course, mine happened on the highway, on the way to work, while I was still on the overnight shift.

Since I didn't know about this club then, it ended up costing me a tow and a couple of hundred bucks in labor. Glad you got yours done so quick and easy!

Drained the radiator and added antifreeze this afternoon, so she'* ready to go and as good as new.

Yes I did. I could've either drove the 15 miles to my house, or 2 to my uncle'*. I chose my uncles, and he said if I would've tried to drive it home, I'd've blown it up. He said I was lucky to have made it to his house.
