Check your local parts stores for one. It will lower operating temps, which will increase the life of your engine, as well as give you better milage, and even a few HP.

Uhh, very... very easy. your upper radiator hose connects to the coolant neck / thermostat housing, two bolts hold the thermostat housing to the intake manifold, remove it then take the thermostat out get a new thermostat, o-ring and gasket, scrape the old gasket off and put the new one on I always use some RTV also.

Buy Chilton'* #28200 at the same time, along with the fiber gasket and rubber seal for the thermostat/housing. You need the book anyway. With it, the first time you do this should take less than an hour. 20 minutes for each change after that. Put a rag down in the lower intake while you CAREFULLY scrape the old gasket off.
