The Classics 95-99 are by FAR better looking IMHO
The +01'* do have a very nice interior though, but the exterior styling kept me from buying another one, Happy with my Agressive new Bonneville.

Ok fair enough the interior is nice, but is a streamlined version of the 95-99. One thing that I didn't like was the new shifter...they went back to the cobra style head. The shifter in my car is so....different...lol, feels better in the hands...nice wide flange shifter...
They did up the rims tho...thats always nice

I don't like the cobra shifters... and i really hate the newer GM ones with the button on top... WTF IS WITH THAT!?!?! The T shifter is nice, keep it around. Neither aurora is really bad imho, it'* just once you break the mold you can't do it everytime.

I have that style of shifter on my car and I don't mind it at all, you get used to it. Also, it is not a new design, in fact, the shifter in my Riviera is the exactly same identical shifter used in the 1980'* Buick T-Types. Even cavaliers use the same shifter though so that kinda sucks. but it'* by no means a 'new' type of shifter.. if anything the shifter your bonny has is the 'new' design.
I'm assuming you mean this shifter like I have:
