I want to try the paint too, since I like working on it myself....that'* part of the fun. I'll have to look for some gold wheel paint when I get a chance. As far as taking off the clear, what else besides sandpaper is there? It'* been a long while since I was at an auto parts store but I'm pretty sure that I saw some kind of product made (a liquid of some kind) that is meant for removing the clear coat. Am I remembering correctly or is there no such product?

might have to get me a set of those tonight along with that wheel paint. On painting the wheels do you think that i could do it with the wheels on or should i take them off. Also should i have to paint the inside to? Do you think that you will be able to see the chrome from the inside through?
