Got some new stuff today...
Got some stuff for my car today:
Previously my car had no cabin air filter. It was missing since I bought it (2 years ago), and finally thought I should buy one... lol.
K&N cause I've wanted one forever now.
Blades cause my old ones were streaking BADLY. A lot of people here said they have had good luck with Teflon blades, so that'* what I got.
It was almost 90 degrees outside (summer finally came to SD), and got it all installed in 45 minutes or so. Hardest part was figuring out how to put the stupid cabin filter in, as I didn't have an old one to go by...
When I was done, I went and got a car wash... Therefore, it will be raining tomorrow.

Definitely liking it all so far.
The wipers blade frames (the metal part) was old enough that the paint on them was coming off, and you could see the bare metal. They needed to be changed. Last time I did the wipers I just did the inserts. Looks a lot better now, not to mention no more streaking!
I noticed my exhaust sounded a little bit more... I don't know... "throaty" when it was sitting at idle. Sounded a bit louder when I fired up my car after I put in the K&N.
Is that just my imagination, or can the K&N do that?

Certainly could be just me.
I was just using the "you are what you eat" principle in my thinking... Eat better air, um... 'release' better air.

k&n
I know if you put a cold air intake on a car it will make it sound different, but every time i've put in just the filter its never made a bit of difference in sound.
