What'* a L32?
Hey guys,
I was checking out Intense Racing website and I got giddy after I found out that they offered a Level 2 pkg for my L36 that adds 25 hp. That may not be much but if it'* installed then I'm only ten horses away from a factory SSEi at the crank (L2 pkg= 230, L67= 240) I may have miscalculated but who cares. That'* not the point.
The point I'm trying to get to is I saw the letters L32 and there was several pkgs for them and I read that they came in 2004 and above Grand Prixes. I thought all W-bodies and H-bodies used either L36 or L67 unless I wasn't told that they renamed the motor for the new design?

The L32 is a supercharged Series III. One of the main differences with the L67 engine is that uses a newer version of the eaton supercharged used since the L67 engine This engine is used in the following vehicles:

Thanks Harry for clarifying it for me, I tried to search Techinfo but to no avail. I don't know why I didn't google L32. Must have been dazed from translating Latin to English

Yeah a L32 will destroy a Rustang because it'* supercharged and the Rustang is not. But I'm fairly confident a L36 could destroy an auto V6 Rustang or barely beat it.
Hey why do they go down on the nomenclature? Shouldn't common sense tell them to go above L67 to like let'* say L79 or something like that and not L32 because it makes it sound smaller and weaker. you know what I mean.
Example the corvette with the LS1 is pretty fast, the new Corvette comes with a LS2, it'* faster, next is a LS6 in the Corvette Z06 then in the spankin new Z06 is a LS7. Notice the increase in number.
