No.. Have you seen the 2004 Grand Prix ?? It suppose to have a series III 3.8L. Still looks the same to me.. the only thing else I like is the instrument cluster.. at least pontiac has finally changed a bit of their bland traditional cluster look.

On the side note... I saw a Bonneville 95 - 99 model with the tri-star Bonneville emblem.. too bad he was going the opposite way.. I would've asked him where he got it, andif I can borrow it off his car.. ha ha haha

That'* true.. do you have all the lumber support on yours ( with all the nice funky button on your center console ).. the seats are so comfy.. ask Tamara or anyone else that'* talked to me... 98% of the time I talk to them.. I"m sitting in my car.. Bwahahahah.. a little obsessed ???
Hehe...he'* sitting in the car alright...in the back seat...but that'* the other 97%...i'm not included in that quotient! lol

Black Sheep!! dont' argue (psh whip whip) I worked hard to get four stars! I feel like i've been stripped of my clothing, robbed..deprived!! aaagh

welcome Amy. 95 is the best year. But why on earth would they have to replace the motor at only 115miles? It will remain a mystery, I suppose. And how did you find out about the site if you don't mind me asking?

Now there are 2 girls here.

Hi Tamara! I'm not sure why they replaced the engine...it would be nice to know. This site was the first one that came up in a google search for Bonneville Forum. I'm having trouble with the car, and I was hoping that someone would have the mechanical know-how to let me know what is wrong with it. I definitely came to the right place! We're the only two girls here? Wow....do most girls not like Bonnevilles or something? :?

No... most girls just like the back seat.. ha haha.. the leg room .. hee hee.. and the sunroof if their legs are too long.. bwahahahah.. hee hee... no Tamara not part of the equation Can't hurt from trying though ha ha ha ha.. well maybe now I think about it.. James is a pretty big guy... but not as big as my 2 tonne Bonnie.. Bwahahaha... Just j/king Tamara..

The only thing I can see why the engine was replaced is because the 3.8 is notorious for blowing head gasket ( and everthing else if it isn't taken care of earlier ). The first thing you should be investing in is a 180 T-stat to ensure that your engine doesn't run that hot

It'* all good. I don't mind one bit. The less girls here, the more it is up to me to establish female car-knowledge dominance over the male race. I always like a good workout hehe

Thanks! As a matter of fact.... I have a post in the mechanical section about my car not wanting to start/stay running...would you possibly have anything to add to the growing list of stuff I need to check? People on this forum are so helpful...I love it already and I've only been here a couple of hours.
