Jimbo.. you can run good tires in the back with snows up front and be good. Unless you are trying to stop quick all the time..the backs will have enough traction considering they brake less when compared to the front.

I run blizzaks on the integra on all 4 corners.

When I used the other cars in the winter, I just made sure I had good (almost new) tires on all 4 corners and didn't play around. This worked fine and got me through all winters with no issues.

if looking for snows, get one with the highest silicone percentage you can find, summer and all season tires tend to stiffin up and loose traction below 40 degrees or so, while silicone doesent till much lower temp. But snow tires also wear out much faster when the temps get warmer, o for tread life i wouldn't run them all year

Nokian Hakkapeliitta on the Alero 225 60 R 16 I do belive, they do awesome. I have one solid winter left in them from the looks of it.
Winter tires on the Bonneville? Never, she gets stored.
