No "Pontiac" or "Bonneville" stamped in the bumper. I'm guessing they started that later.

Not true. Our 00 SLE has the stamp on it. the SSEi doesn't though. I think it was a mid-year change.

the 00-early year 01 only have PONTIAC on the right hand side of the bumper

the mid year 01,02-03 have BOTH BONNEVILLE on the left AND PONITAC on the right hand side of the bumpers


and that SSEI with no spoiler HAS the Pontiac on the Rear bumper....look closely under that sticker on the RIght hand side

no spoiler now bonneville emblems and rims also possibly the color?

the color is Stock, we have a few of them around the club here, and the 00+ Bonneville SLE and SSEi'* never got a trunk badge

Here is the 00 SSEi WITHOUT the Bonneville Insignia, and WITH the Pontiac one.


Here'* the 00 SLE with both BONNEVILLE and PONTIAC stamps. The color on his SLE is the same as the SSEi pictured above. It is the Dark Bronzemist.


EDIT: It may not be completely wise to base a comparison off of the 00 SLE however. The rear bumper has been replaced TWICE since ownership. The car has been wrecked several times.
