What would you do if your dash was out?
I think if we call it a 'pull' string instead of a 'poll' string, it might be better understood. Good idea. But why not just double the amount of wires first, then save the last one as a pul string.

This car is not getting any non power elated or canning related electronics added to it.
and im not doing any cool lighting o Subs and stuff.
This car is going to be my Fun, Go Fast car

I plan on doing a extra gauge or two later on. but for now its just re plan. get running the best, get cleaned up. then start getting ready for winter sleep

bill did it in his car and your brother probably has it in his Jeep as well. it typically has three buttons that you can set to control up to three garages. good feature to consider...
