I thought so...when I had a tune up a couple months ago, the mechanic told me my car did not have a cat, I forgot what he said it was. He didn't try to persuade me into having him "install" a new one so I really think he did not know what he was talking about. Not to mention he'* the owner of the shop, I'm not going to that shop no more, I thought Precision Tune Auto had nothing but experts

Ummm.....I don't recall telling you how long ago it was replaced, nor what the backpressure measurement was.

Just because it'* not original doesn't mean it'* good.
