Default What streetracing can get you (big pic):

Scenario:

2am this morning. Hanging out on the front porch with the dog, kids are asleep. I hear several cars racing down my street. 1966 Chevy Nova II (lead car) locks up his brakes from about 70mph just before my house. LONG sikid marks in the pic are his. Newer Kia Rio (car #2) locks up. Lost in the Nova'* tire smoke, but I see enough to watch both fenders, all front lights, and the hood buckle on impact. Major front-end damage, rear end to the Nova. Other 3 cars swerve around the wreck with VERY little room.

Don't do this at home. I was standing at the point of impact when I shot that pic. Had this happened less than a block sooner, Greenzilla would have been at risk.
I should've parked in my driveway last night.

Man, I am sure your heart sped up big time knowing your baby was a few feet away from the wreckage. I am glad "Greenzilla" escaped unscathed. Perhaps parking in the driveway is a good idea.

DAMN! And I thought Albany, OR was a sleepy little town. I'm glad to see that you park "Greenzilla" on the Right Side of the Tracks.

BTW....is that the 8:10 out of Eugene going towards Salem I see down the rails???

I was hoping for a crash pic.

Glad your car was not hit. If I have to park on the street, I worry the whole time someone might hit it.

Dumb A$$!!!!!!

Thats what I don't get... street racing should be done ( and I"ve always.. err.. mostly done 98% of it ) in industrial roads in wee hours since most of the buildings would be shut down.. the road are straight.. no pedestrians.. no other casualties other then the poor saps who is there ( and they would be there knowing wat for ) if any thing was to happen.. and if something does.. it gives you more time to call up your buddy in the tow truck business to haul your car out of there before the cops gets notified ( usually from other motorist who drive by the crash that calls the cops. and in an industrial place isnt' very often ) OIE !!!!!

Good thing FOR THEIR SAKE that greenzilla wasn't hurt or they would be trying to sit with a Arrow up their *** hee hee.. right Bill??

Ol Timer....what do you know of the rail lines here? That'* actually the Burlington Northern, not the SP. But you're only off by about 1/4 mile.
