I have my center hump mounted aftermarket cupholder thing secured to the carpet with little bungee cords I put through it, to keep it from going airborne during a fast turn. I used to get coffee all over the place in my car! I'll have to take some pics, because it totally works, keeps the thing stuck right in the center of the floor.

I also never liked the center-console models' 9-way power seat button switches directly underneath the fold-out armrest cupholder, so a nice cold icey drink would sweat and drip all over the buttons, and it would have been nice to have seat position memory for at least 2 drivers and 2 passengers. But I have a center-console-less SE, so this doesn't affect me.

It still freaks me out after I've been driving my wife'* `01 Grand Prix GT when I drive my car I reach for the non-existant shifter between the seats. :?

In the day time?! You can there'* a plug under the hood of your car on the driver'* side right inside the front quarter panel... no lie it should be right inside.... it'* just two wires connected with plastic plugs! L27Buick showed me at our last meet! But they still come on naturally when it gets dark! Just no day time running lights unless you pull the button!

This is a slight bit off topic, but i think disabling the DRLs is a really dumb idea, theyre one of the best safety features out there IMO and i wish a lot more cars were equipped with them, people around here dont understand the concept of turning your lights on at dusk, or as the sun is setting, and thats when my drive to work is a lot of the time. I cant tell you how many times ive had trouble seeing oncoming cars, this is especially true with white, silver, and black cars, they blend in very well with the color of our roads. Theres been a couple times where i have looked, pulled out to pass, and then seen a car that i did not see when i looked. Im sure im not the only one with this problem, and cars with DRLs are much easier to see at any time of the day, and id rather have someone see me and not hit me than to not have DRLs

I say ditch the whole back seat set-up and make it a bucket style seating no middle passenger there always in the way anyhow!. bigger rims on the ssei'* would have made sense! bigger fatsrer stronger!...gm offered rear headphones for rear passengers in there van lines! I wish this would have been carried onto the car line! (especailly if you have kids) on the ssei models they should have had embrodered seats with the pontiac logo and ssei ...would have set the interiror in it'* own class! I would defenitely like some god damn heat throu my dash vents too! and stronger headlights from factory! I need to upgrade!

Never mind I said HEADLIGHTS, not the DRL. Yes I agree the DRL are good safety feature that'* why I said HEADLIGHT not DRL Just sometimes I'd like to run my car without headlights for fun or as a curtesy to my neighbors who end up with my headlights shining through their windows when I get in late at night or leave early (3:30) in the morning for work.

My '94 has a voltmeter.

This thread is funny, except 60/40'* and disc brakes...the options were pretty much found in some trim level some year.

my 96 had a voltmeter....i agree that the cupholders SUCKED...ever slam on the brakes with a 32oz Coke in the door?....its not pretty

fold down seats never would have been an issue for me, but i do have them now if i ever need them i guess...

A think a "door ajar" light wouldve been a nice simple add-on...i know they lock automatically and stuff, but kids in the backseat can figure out how to unlock them fairly easily. I still remember the time my mom borrowed my car and had my little sis in the back and she jumped out and my mom still had intentions of moving...my mother almost ran over her! that wouldve been awful, and my mom had no idea the door was open...why? no chime, no light
