Hey guys, I'm going want to purchase a new battery real soon. Espically since purchasing a SSEI motor and tranny is under HIGH consideration this year. So I was wondering what would be the best battery to get and where at? Are hook ups are on the side not on top and I've been to a sears store other day and didn't see any that way. Would I have to get it from the dealer? Also I do have a stearo system in this car ( look at the info on me )

I'd vote for an Optima Red Top. It has the regular side terminals as well as an extra set of top terminals.

Ok cool...Its not like my battery now is failing on me, but I have no idea when this thing has been replaced ( its died on me a couple times while tailgating a NFL games ) but I'd feel better knowing I have a stronger battery then the stock one.

The optima is stronger right?

With ‘00+ you ought to give consideration to venting since battery is under the seat.
