The reason I was using the 93 octane is because the owners manual calls for premium octane gas for the ssei. I think, but may be mistaken, that it actually mentions the 93 in it as being "premium."

I didn't realize that other places don't have that high. I saw one place by me that only went up to 92 octane and was thinking, gee that'* not to good. Crazy, huh?!

Kevo, on a basically stock SSEi, 91 is fine. After several mods, you'll notice a preference for 92. I run 92 now, as 91 just feels sluggish. Funny how one point of octane can make a difference with a few mods (it was the Jet Stage 2 that did it for me).
