When my buddy was shopping for cars I accompanied him everywhere. His choices came down to either a 93 SSE or a 92 Maxima. He took the Maxima, because he got it alot cheaper. So when my Olds went poof! I decided to go for the Bonneville. I picked up a 95 SE and never regreted the decision.

68400fbird, That is one sweet pic you got there!

Once I saw the new eyes of the latest redesign, I was in love. One glance into those headlights and I was under a spell.

No joke.

Default grandpa

My grandpa was always into fast cars. When the feb. 1992 edition of Motor Trend came around he was very into the new bonneville! But he did have a tough choice, eather the bonneville or a BMW 7-series. I'm glad with his choice! So then a few years ago he was talking about giving the car to me when I turn 16. Well, a little over a year ago my grandpa died of cancer. My car is still at his house with my grandma but will be given to me on June 16th! I wish my grtandpa could be here for it.

I was out looking for a good used car under $9k., mainly looking for a Grand Prix. I never really thought about buying a Bonnie until I test drove one. I was surprised at the power they had for such comfortable car. I'm also a sucker for great features and black leather.

A fitting tribute...and way to keep the memory alive...rollin in a 92 SSEi. That 89 Bonne was always going to be mine, when my grandfather passed away from cancer, it kinda helps me remember. He was a stickler for details and maintenance, he taught me well

I am thinking that you would be much happier, preformance wise, if he had have gotten a BMW 750i. Am I wrong??? I mean please... a BMW V-12... I would drool over that!!!

I got my car from mama dukes. I always liked it and that was the car i drove the most when i got my permit a couple years ago. When it came time for my mom to get a new car (a 2.5l x type), she was gonna trade the bonnie in and get about 4000 or so for it. But i couldn't let her, so she made me pay her $2500 for it . Real good price for a real good car. Besides that bonniville is such a pimped out ride to begin w/, leather, black on black, power everything, just plain luxury. Even though i just went through a tranny and a motor w/in the last year, i wouldn't have done it any other way.

I got it because I got a $1000 dollar trade-in on my 91 grandam quad-4, motor, transmission, and interioir was in good condition but front was jacked up really bad and I didnt expect to get more than 300-500 dollars for it. Still ended up paying $2500 for it even though i didnt want to lol, but my mom thought it was a good deal. Just a couple mechanic and electrical problems but verry errry clean inside and out. Just need some tranny work now, tcc.
